B. LAY SHAFT DISASSEMBLY:
1. Hold in bench voice and remove locking
screw of lay shaft.
2. Install support plate 5438 5890 2602.
3. Place lay shaft assembly on hydraulic press
with support plate (5438 5890 2602) & drift
(2834 5890 2607) press lay shaft. Hold lay
shaft from bottom.
4. Take out 6

cage & support plate separated from lay shaft

5. Take out twin cone assembly 1

6. Remove snap ring & take out engaging gear.
