Step Checks

IF YES

IF NO

1.

Disconnect the connector of boost pressure signal.

Identify

the pin number 2 on the harness side connector. Check the

continuity between pin 2 of the harness side connector and

battery

positive.If

the continuity is observed then there is a

short circuit in the harness.

Follow electrical

continuity check

Procedure.

Replace/rectify

harness if required

Go to Step 2.

2.

Disconnect the connector of boost pressure signal.

Identify

the pin number 2 on the harness side connector. Check the

continuity between pin 2 of the harness side connector and

battery positive. If the continuity is not observed then there

is an open circuit means signal is missing.

Follow electrical

continuity check

Procedure.

Replace/rectify

harness if required

Go to Step 3.

3.

Are there any pins damaged at EMS ECU Connector,

boost pressure and temperature sensor connector.

Replace the

connector or wiring

harness.

Go to Step 4.

4.

Are there any pins backed out from the EMS ECU

Connector, boost pressure and temperature sensor

connector.

Rectify/Replace

Connectors.

Go to Step 5.

5.

If fault still persists.

then replace sensor

and if fault still

persists then call

hotline.

Follow the above

procedure again for

Reconfirmation.

DTC’s confirmation

(checks before handing over vehicle to customer)

:

1. Check the errors at Ignition ON, engine running @ Idle & Fly-up with different vehicle speeds also.

2. If error present, then rectify the errors.

3. Confirm that there is no error logged in EMS before handing over vehicle to customer.
