Trouble Shooting:

Step Checks

IF YES

IF NO

1.

Is there any rust/oxidization observed on Sensor Terminals.

Clean the Rust or

repair or replace

Go to Step 2.

2.

Is there wiring harness electrical continuity between ECU

Pins 16, 98, 97, 8, 9 & TVA Actuator connector pins 1, 5, 3,

6, 2.

Establish continuity

by rectifying

harness

connections as per

the circuit

schematic.

Go to Step 3.

3.

Check that Throttle valve actuator under voltage error is

present.

Remove the error

Go to step 4.

4.

Are there any pins damaged at Sensor/EMS ECU

Connector.

Replace the

connector or wiring

Harness.

Go to step 5.

5.

Are there any pins backed out from the Sensor/EMS ECU

Connector.

Rectify/Replace

Connectors.

Go to Step 6.

6.

Is Sensor pin 5 short circuited to GND/Battery or

Open?

Repair the harness

as per the

schematic.

Go to Step 7.

7.

Is Actuator Pin 6, Short circuited to Battery or open?

Repair the harness

as per the

schematic.

Go to Step 8.

8.

Is sensor physically Damaged?

Replace Sensor.

Go to Step 9.

9.

If fault still persists.

then replace sensor

and if fault still

persists then call

Hotline.

Follow the above

procedure again for

Reconfirmation.

DTC’s confirmation

(checks before handing over vehicle to customer)

:

1. Check the errors at Ignition ON, engine running @ Idle & Fly-up with different vehicle speeds also.

2. If error present, then rectify the errors.

3. Confirm that there is no error logged in EMS before handing over vehicle to customer.
