Customer Symptom
ECON Request Button cannot be manually selected
Fault Effects (On Vehicle)
ECON Request Button is stuck and cannot be change
ON to OFF or Vice versa. Also ECON LED status is not
changing
Lamp Status (If Any)
If ECON was active, ECON functionality is deactivated
due to AC single key press. If ECON was deactivated
during key jam action, ECON will not be reactivated.
Fault Detection Condition
ECON Request Button -Signal Stuck Low
Normal Operating Condition
The mode can be changed by pressing ECON Request
Button.
Probable Trouble Area
Mode switch component failure.
Healing Condition
Check and lubricate switch, replace control panel

Preliminary Checks:
Switch On the IGN & perform the following check.
1) Connect the Diagnostics tool & check the DTC fault code
2) If the fault code exists, refer the corrective actions
