Customer Symptom

Blower Speed down Request cannot be manually

selected

Fault Effects (On Vehicle)

Blower Speed down switch is stuck and blower speed

will be stuck at one speed.

Lamp Status (If Any)

Blower with default speed i.e- Speed 2.

Fault Detection Condition

Blower Speed down Request Button-Signal Stuck Low

Normal Operating Condition

Blower speed can be decrease by pressing blower

speed down button.

Probable Trouble Area

Mode switch component failure.

Healing Condition

Check and lubricate switch, replace control panel

Component Details:

Blower Speed down Request

Button is shown in above image. This button used to decrease the blower speed.

Preliminary Checks:

Switch On the IGN & perform the following check.

1) Connect the Diagnostics tool & check the DTC fault code

2) If the fault code exists, refer the corrective actions
