Customer Symptom
No air distribution (mode) control (manual or automatic)
Fault Effects (On Vehicle)
The motor is blocked and its motion toward either end is not
possible
Lamp Status (If Any)
NA
Fault Detection Condition
Mode Door Control Motor Calibration Fault
Normal Operating Condition
With the Mode motor drive line connected to the harness and
with Ignition ON, check the voltage between blue connector
pin no 14 & ground or 15 & ground of the Connector. The
voltage range should be in between 0 to 14 V
Probable Trouble Area
Motor learning is not accomplished because of
1) Shorting of Motor drive to battery or ground
2) Motor is stuck while calibrating
3) System over/under voltage during calibration
4) Motor feedback fault short to battery or ground

Component Details:
The Mode Door Actuator controls the direction of airflow. It selects which way air flows through the different ducts.
Preliminary Checks:
Switch On the IGN & perform the following check.
1) Connect the Diagnostics tool & check the DTC fault code
2) If the fault code exists, refer the corrective actions
