Customer Symptom

1. On cranking the vehicle Engine is not starting And

2. Immo telltale on instrument cluster stays ON after IGN ON.

Fault Effects (On Vehicle)

1. On cranking the vehicle Engine will not start And

2. Immo telltale on instrument cluster will stay ON after IGN ON.

Lamp Status (If Any)

Immo telltale lamp on instrument cluster stays ON after IGN ON.

Fault Detection Condition

On IGN ON EMS sends key authentication request to PEPS, if

any algorithmic fault is detected, PEPS ECU logs this DTC.

Normal Operating Condition

1. On cranking the vehicle engine shall start seamlessly.

2. After IGN ON Immo telltale on instrument cluster shall stay

OFF.

Probable Trouble Area

1. PEPS ECU

2. EMS ECU

Healing Condition

Ignition Transition:- IGN OFF



IGN ON.

On IGN ON after EMS key authentication request no DTC is

logged by PEPS.
