Trouble Shooting:
START
1. Turn OFF ignition
2. Wait for 5 seconds
3. Turn ON ignition
4. Connect the diagnostics tool and Read Logged DTCs
Is U0140–08
logged in
current state?
Do necessary repairs in the wiring harness.
1. Check if Ignition, Battery and Ground of BCM
ECU is properly connected
2. Check for any blown/disconnected fuse at
ignition and battery lines of BCM connector
Is continuity
there?
1. Check for continuity between
BCM CAN_H to IPC CAN_H & BCM CAN_L to IPC
CAN_L in vehicle wiring side connector
Do necessary repairs in the wiring harness.
Clear DTC
STOP
