Customer Symptom
Interior lamp permanently off
Fault Effects (On Vehicle)
Interior lamp always off.
Lamp Status (If Any)
NA
Fault Detection Condition
This fault will be logged when front courtesy light output
is short to ground
Normal Operating Condition
Front Courtesy Light turns ON when any door is open or
RKE unlock or KEYIN to KEYOUT transition.
Probable Trouble Area
1. 1. BCM connector Fault.
2. 2. Harness issue.
3. 3. Switch fault.
4. 4. ECU fault.
Healing Condition
1. 1. Give ignition cycle after fault removal
2. 2. Clear DTC command- No DTC logged
Component Details:
This lamps turns ON when any door is open or RKE unlock or KEYIN to KEYOUT transition.
Preliminary Checks:
1.
Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V)
2.
Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
