Customer Symptom
Mirror does not operate
Fault Effects (On Vehicle)
Mirror does not operate.
Lamp Status (If Any)
NA
Fault Detection Condition
This fault will be logged after the input switch test routine
execution. User has to operate the switch manually during
routine. If short to battery circuit fault is detected for Mirror
Fold/Unfold Switch then this DTC code will be returned with
the Routine results.
Normal Operating Condition
There should not be any fault returned by routine.
Probable Trouble Area
dd. 1. BCM connector Fault.
ee. 2. Harness issue.
ff. 3. Switch fault.
gg. 4. ECU fault.
Healing Condition
hh. 1. Give ignition cycle after fault removal
ii. 2. Clear DTC command- No DTC logged
Component Details:
External mirror head is mounted to the bracket, the mirror head is movable between fold (parked) position and
unfolded position.
When switch is pressed the mirror gets fold & switch is not pressed then mirror gets unfold.
Preliminary Checks:
1.
Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V)
2.
Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
