B1619 - 11: Internal Lock Switch - Circuit Short to Ground

Customer Symptom
Customer is unable to open door.
Fault Effects (On Vehicle)
Door always locked.
Lamp Status (If Any)
Fault Detection Condition
This fault will be logged with IGN ON and internal
lock/unlock switch output short to ground.
Normal Operating Condition
This fault will be logged with IGN ON and internal
lock/unlock switch is pressed then door lock/unlock
operation happen alternately.
Probable Trouble Area
Lock/unlock switch output is Short to ground.
ECU fault.
Healing Condition
Run the input switch test routine and read the DTC. The
DTC B1619 – 11 shall not be logged.
Component Details:
BCM activate the door through internal lock/unlock Switch and output is STG for DTC B1619 - 11.
Preliminary Checks:
Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V)
Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
Trouble Shooting:-
