Connect Diagnostic tool and Read

DTC. Switch ON front wash and read

DTC.

Is DTC

B2240-12

YES

Stop

Remove Vehicle Battery connections.

(Please follow safety guidelines)

1) Remove BCM connector and check for backout/ pins bend/

damages.

Yes

Check continuity between

1) BCM connector A pin 41 and Connector A pin 9 in the harness

connector

1) BCM connector A pin 41 and Connector C pin 1/ 2 in the harness

connector

Yes

Correct the wiring

harness short and open

circuit reconnect the

vehicle battery and

BCM

Remove the wiper low/ high relay and test

the relay. Connect external 12 V and GND

to the relay coils. Check the relay switches

ON or Not(by listening the tick sound)

Is relay faulty

Yes

Replace the relay

Any fault

observed

Correct the fault

Any continuity

observed

B2240- 12 Rear Wiper relay short to BATT

Replace

the ECU
