Customer Symptom
Power windows will not operate in Accessory power
mode input.
Fault Effects (On Vehicle)
Power windows will not operate in Accessory power
mode input.
Lamp Status (If Any)
NA
Fault Detection Condition
This fault gets logged by BCM when accessory delay
output is shorted to ground.
Normal Operating Condition
Power windows will operate in Accessory power mode
input.
Probable Trouble Area
1. BCM connector wired wrong
2. Cockpit harness wire shorted to ground
Healing Condition
1. Ignition OFF
ON
2. Clear DTC Command
Component Details:
Accessory power mode input switch is part of Ignition switch and interfaced to the BCM. If the Accessory
power mode input switch is activated and power windows functionality will work through accessory delay
output. If user put the ignition switch to Accessory power mode input position, power windows functionality will
work.
Accessory Delay Signal is active high.
Preliminary Checks:
1. Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V)
2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
