Step Checks
IF YES
IF NO
1.
Read IVN DTCs in ECM. Is MTO logged against IPC in
ECM in current state?
1. Check continuity
between ECM
CAN_H to IPC
CAN_H and ECM
CAN_L to IPC
CAN_L in vehicle
wiring side
connector.
2. Check IPC ECU
fuse blown.
3. Also, check IPC
ECU is powered up
properly. IPC
Battery, IGN and
GND connected
properly with IPC
ECU.
Go to step 2.
Clear DTC.
2.
Is continuity there?
Check the
resistance between
ECM CANH
and ECM CANL of
ECM connector in
vehicle wiring
harness. (IPC
connected on
the vehicle).
Go to step 3.
Repair the wiring
harness if
continuity is not
there.Clear DTC.
3.
Is Resistance R = 120 ohm?
Clear DTC.
Check continuity
between
ECM CAN_H to
IPC CAN_H and
ECM CAN_L
to IPC CAN_L.
Go to step 4.
4.
If fault still persists.
then replace sensor
and if fault still
persists then call
Hotline.
Follow the above
procedure again for
Reconfirmation.
DTC’s confirmation
(checks before handing over vehicle to customer)
:
1. Check the errors at Ignition ON, engine running @ Idle & Fly-up with different vehicle speeds also.
