10.6.3 PASSENGER AIRBAG (PAB) MODULE
Removal
1. Disconnect battery and wait for 2 minutes.
2. Remove dashboard. (Refer Dashboard
removal procedure / Body group of BOLT)
3. Remove four mounting bolts of PAB module.
4. Take out PAB module.
Installation
1. Insert the PAB module into the dashboard.
2. Tighten mounting bolts of PAB module to
specified torque (0.9 - 1.4 Kgm)
3. Assemble the dashboard on the vehicle.
4. Connect electrical connector of PAB module.
5. Reconnect battery.
6. Connect diagnostic tool and clear all fault
codes.
10.6.4 SRS ECU
Removal
1. Disconnect battery and wait for 2 minutes.
2. 2. Remove floor centre console.
3. Disconnect electrical connectors of SRS ECU.
4. Remove all 3 mounting fasteners of SRS ECU
and take it out.
Installation
1. Locate the ECU within the 3 studs provided
on the tunnel. Check the stud integrity for
cracks, breakage etc.
2. Tighten all mounting fasteners of SRS ECU to
specified torque (0.9 Kgm). Do not over
tighten as there is a risk of the mounting stud
breaking due to additional torque.
3. Connect all electrical connectors of SRS
ECU.
4. Install floor console.
5. Reconnect battery.
6. Connect diagnostic tool and clear all fault
codes.
