3A.1.2.2.6 SELECTION OF CYLINDER HEAD
GASKET
1. Measure the piston projection in two places at 180°
on the gudgeon pin axis using the tool (1)
287158900643 (Dial guage mount) 1 and take the
average of the two values measured for each
piston.
2. Select the correct size cylinder head gasket,
according to the maximum value of the averages
for the projection for each individual piston. Refer
the table below.
