6 PRECAUTIONS (DO’S AND DON’TS):
DO’S:-
1. Always handle the “AMT KIT” using the
aluminum body of base plate only.
2. Always ensure the rubber collar is
properly strapped on the tank cap when
the “AMT KIT” is not mounted on vehicle.
3. Always follow the proper procedure
defined for un-mounting and mounting
the
‘Transmission
Control
Unit’
connectors.
DON’TS:-
1. Don’t disturb the position of engage piston
and selection piston.
2. Don’t handle the “AMT KIT” using
Accumulator, ‘Transmission Control Unit’, Oil
Tank, Wiring Harness, DC Motor Connector,
Clutch Cable or Clutch Knob.
3. Don’t unscrew any fastener of “AMT KIT”.
4. Don’t disturb the connector wire for Clutch
Speed Sensor.
5. Don’t immerse “AMT KIT” in water.
6. Don’t open “Oil Tank” in dusty environment.
7. Don’t run the “AMT KIT” without oil tank Cap.
8. Don’t keep “Oil Tank” cap in loosely screwed
condition.
9. Don’t flash “AMT KIT” with any software
other than original software delivered by
“MAGNETI MARELLI”.
