3. Remove the air filter to access the catcon

mounting to TC on vehicle.

(For Removal

procedures refer Air filter removal).

4. Loosen and remove the mounting fasteners

and remove the catcon assembly.

FITMENT

For fitment follow the reverse procedure of

removal.

NOTE



Flushing operation for cleaning the catalytic

converter should be done by directing dry

compressed air draft in the direction of

catalytic converter inlet, after removing it

from the vehicle.

E. EXHAUST PIPE FITMENT PROCEDURE

1. Match hot end flange & exhaust front pipe

flange holes with gasket in between and hand

tighten the nut.

2. Match bracket on engine and bracket on front

pipe holes and hand tighten the bolt.

3. Tight the front pipe flange & hot end flange nut

by pneumatic tool & apply torque-2.3 kgf.m.

4. Tight the front pipe mounting bracket bolt by

pneumatic tool & apply tightening torque-2.3

kgf.m.
