3. Pull out and remove the excluder from the
booster clevis.
4. Remove the filter cup from the booster
assembly.
INSPECTION :
Check the external filter, excluder and filter cup
for any cut, damage etc. If it is blocked do not
clean and reuse, replace it with new one.
Fitment :
For fitment follow reverse procedure of removal.
viii. GREASING :
Drum In Hat Shoe Lining Greasing :
1 Remove the rear brake disc.
(For procedure
refer brake disc removal process in this
section.)
2 A thin film of “Lithium Based Grease” to be
smeared at below given locations.
3 Clean the location where grease to be
applied. Keep grease away from shoe lining.
Caliper Greasing :
Loosen and remove the sliding pin and grease
them with the special grease which is provided for
brakes
.
NOTE :
Check the sliding pin boot for any cut or
damages. If any defect is found replace the
boot.
