PARKING BRAKE CABLE :
Removal :
1. Place the vehicle on two post lift.
2. Ensure parking brakes in released condition.
3. Take out the split pin
(1)
and remove the
clevis pin
(2)
from the rear wheel end. Follow
the same procedure for other side also.
4. Remove the clip and separate the parking
brakes cable from the rear axle.
5. Take out clips and disconnect the parking
brake cable rear half from the connector link.
6. Loosen and remove the lock nut, spherical
nut (1) and remove the clip (2) and free the
front half of the parking cable from the link.
7. To disconnect the front cable from the hand
brake side remove the floor console.

8. Pull out the split pin
(1)
and remove the clevis
pin
(2)
and keep the spacer and bright washer
properly and separate the front brake cable
from the hand brake.
