PREPARATION ON GLASS:
1. Clean the glass with Cleaner Terostat-
8550.Allow it to dry completely. Assemble the
rubber mould to the glass.
2. Apply a thin & even coat (
Approximately
0.5mm thick wet layer)
of primer Terostst-8511
on glass. Allow it to dry for minimum 2
minutes.
3.
Fill up the mould groove with sealant Terostat-
8590 with the applicator gun.
(This sealant at
later
stage spreads on glass and mating shell
flange area, when glass is fixed.)
PREPARATION ON BODY SHELL:
1. Clean the Body shell Flange area confirming to
glass with Cleaner Terostat-8550. Allow it to
dry completely.
2. Apply a thin and even coat
(Approx. 0.5mm
thick wet
layer
) of primer Terostat - 8521 on
painted surface. A
llow it to dry for minimum 2
minutes.
3. After the above preparation mount the glass
on
the body flange from outside. This
operation should be done within 20 minutes of
the application if sealant on the glass.
4. After mounting the glass, the same has to
be
pulled towards inside of body with the help of
vacuum cups.
5. Slightly tap the glass all around
with
hand for
proper seating of glass mould.
6. Wipe off the excessive spill off of
sealant
with
clean dry rags. Do not use ISOPROPANOL.
7. Keep the vacuum cups pulled for 10 -12
minutes as mentioned above.
8. Press the windshield glass using belt
tensioner.
9. Do not drive the vehicle for 2 hours.
TAILGATE GLASS FITMENT:
1. Apply promoter 4299 / N200 on the glass.
Allow the primer to dry for minimum 5 minutes.
2. Fix the glass hider seal to the LH and RH side
of the glass. Start fixing from the bottom edge
to the top edge of the glass.
3. Fix
the
end bead at the lower end of the glass.
End bead should not com
e out of the glass
edge. Start the end beading fixing
approximately from any gap between the
edges of end bead.
4. Clean the glass and
painted
surface with the
cleaner TEROSTAT – 8550. Allow it to dry
completely.
5. Apply a thin and even coat
(approximately
0.5mm thick)
of PRIMER TEROSTAT-8511 on
the glass. Allow it to dry for 2 minutes.
6. Apply thin and even coat
(approximately
0.5mm
thick
) of
PRIMER TEROSTAT- 8521 on
painted surface. Allow it to dry for 2 minutes.
7. Apply sealant TEROSTAT-8590 on the glass
with
the applicator nozzle.
8. Mount the glass on the body flange within 20
minutes. Wipe of the excessive spill off with
clean dry rags. Do not use ISOPROPANOL.
9. Keep it position for minimum 30 minutes.
10. Do not drive the vehicle for 2Hrs.
REAR QUARTER GLASS:
REMOVAL
1. Remove rear quarter trim.

2. Remove “D” pillar trim.
(For procedure refer “D”
pillar trim removal procedure)
3. Remove “C” pillar trim.
(For procedure refer “C”
pillar trim removal procedure)
4. Remove third row Grab handle.
(For procedure
refer Grab handle trim removal procedure)
5. Disconnect electrical connection of AMFM
amplifier.
6. Cut the sealant with a thin sharp blade from the
inside.
CAUTION
Do not damage the embossed antenna circuit on
the rear quarter glass.
Follow the assembly sequence of clips.
