17. REMOVAL/INSTALLATION OF FRONT SEAT
(with
and without height adjuster Fig. 23)
REMOVAL
l
Remove the electrical components mounted on
the seat frame.
l
Remove the front seat mounting screws on the
floor and remove the seat.
l
Disassemble fuel lid release lever (where fitted)
INSTALLATION
l
Locate the front seat on the fitment holes.
l
Check that the carpet is aligned properly.
l
Fit the seat using 6 hex. screws (M8x25), spr.
washers (B8), bright washers (8.4) and tighten the
screws.
l
Check for fuel lid operating cable (if fitted)
Note :
For vehicles fitted with airbags the front
seats mounting arrangement is as shown in
fig. 23a
