Installation of Rail

1. Insert the Screws in the rail mounting hole and

also insert the spacers in the screws from the

other side. Ensure the rail orientation is correct

and the screws are inserted from the correct

side.

2. Align the bolts with the 3 holes on the cylinder

head and tighten the screws with hand initially.

3. Remove the plugs if fitted.

4. Fit new set of HP pipes as per the HP pipes

fitment procedure. (

Pump to rail and rail to

injectors

) Do not reuse or refit the same set of

HP pipes.

5. Apply a torque = 35 +/- 5 Nm. to the coupling

nut.

6. On the rail mounting bolts apply the torque

with a suitable wrench. (Torque = 28 +/- 4 Nm)

7. Insert the electric connectors on the rail.

8. Ensure that no leakage is observed from any of

the HP line coupling nuts and joints after

starting the engine at idle and at maximum

speed.

9. Check visually that there are no excessive

vibrations on the rail and HP pipes.
