CONNECTION DETAILS:
REMOVAL:
1.Remove rear bumper. (
Refer body section
).
2.Disconnect the electrical connection of sensor.
3.Snap out the sensor from its housing and take
out the sensor.
REFITMENT:
1.Carefully snap fit the sensor into housing by
aligning the locator of the sensor.
2.Connect the electrical connection.
3.Fit the rear bumper.
2. REVERSE PARKING SYSTEM
CONTROLLER:
FUNCTION:
The controller contains a voltage
stabilizer for the sensors, an integrated
microprocessor and all the interface circuits
needed to adapt the different input and output
signals. The controller will perform the following
functions:
Sensor activation and echo reception
Obstacle proximity estimation
Activation of the warning elements
Evaluation of the input signals from the
vehicle
Monitoring of the system components
including fault storage
Provision of the diagnostic function
FEATURES:
Obstacle distance detection – 0.3 m – 1.2 m.
Buzzer works only when ignition is on and
reverse gear is applied.
Obstacle information to IRVM will be
transmitted only when ignition is on and
reverse gear is applied.
