5. Take out evaporator assembly.

6. Remove two allen screws and take out expansion

valve.

Inspection

1. Check evaporator fins for blockage. If found clogged,

use compressed air to clean fins.

2. Inspect the o-rings for any cut or damage. If found

any, replace the o-rings.

NOTE:

Do not use water to clean the evaporator.

Installation

1. Tighten two allen screws and fix expansion valve.

2. Install air distribution flaps (if removed)

3. Install evaporator assembly into air distribution

housing and fix it by plastic clips.

4. Tighten all mounting screws and clips of air

distribution housing.

5. Install HVAC / AC unit on vehicle. (Refer HVAC /

AC unit installation procedure)

NOTE:

As soon as the pipes disconnected, cap the

opened fittings so that moisture and dust do not

enter into cooling unit.
