•
Loosen the mounting screws of the ignition coil
using screw driver.
Inspection of Ignition Coil
•
Check external condition of the ignition coil.
•
Check for primary and secondary coil resistance
using multimeter. (Refer 3.11.5 Trouble shooting
and diagnosis.)
•
Check for secondary coil resistance.
•
Check if the primary and secondary coil is short-
circuited with the body.
Refitment Procedure
•
Tighten the mounting screws of the ignition coil
using screw driver.
•
Refit the HT cable.
•
Reconnect the primary coil connection.
CAUTION
Ensure that connector press button should be on
top side otherwise engine may not start.
•
Connect the battery negative terminal.
PRECAUTION
Please ensure proper tightening of positive and
negative terminals.
