6.0 EXHAUST FAN REMOVAL AND RE-
FITMENT ON VEHICLE:-
Description:
In Nano AMT, an additional fan (Exhaust Cooling
Fan) added in engine compartment to control the
engine compartment temperature. Exhaust fan will
get switch ‘ON’ whenever the engine coolant temp
is greater than 60°C in engine running condition,
and will remain ‘ON’ in that driving cycle.
If coolant temp is below 60°C, exhaust fan will
remain ‘OFF’ even during engine running.
During after run period (Post cooling), if the coolant
temperature is ≥ 92°C, than fan will remain ‘ON’ for
the duration of 60 Sec (1 min) or till battery voltage
goes < 11.3 volt or otherwise it will remain ‘OFF’.
Removal:
1. Remove the all mounting bolts and clips of rear
bumper.
2. Take out the rear bumper carefully securing to
the body.
3. Disconnect the both (pole motor and pole
sensor) wiring harness connectors of exhaust
fan assembly
4. Remove all 4 bolts and washer (Quantity 3) of
exhaust fan duct assembly from bracket.
5. Remove the both screws and washer (Quantity
2 each) of bolted bracket from welded bracket.
