TRANSMISSION

INPUT

SPEED

SENSOR REMOVAL AND RE-FITMENT ON

VEHICLE:-

Location:

Clutch speed sensor also known as ‘Transmission

Input Speed Sensor’ is mounted on the

transmission housing.

Function:

The function of ‘TISS’ (Hall Effect based sensor),

senses the transmission input shaft speed as an

input for rotational speed of the clutch.

Removal:

1. Pull out wiring harness routed clamp and

disconnect the ‘Transmission Input Speed

Sensor’ wiring harness female connector

carefully from rear half transmission housing.

2. Remove the both cap screws and take the

stone guard bracket.

3. Unscrew the bolt and remove the sensor

carefully.
