4. Take out the door switch.

REVERSE LAMP SWITCH

FUNCTION

An open switch that prevents voltage from being

applied to the backup lights until the vehicle is put in

reverse. Putting the vehicle in reverse closes the

contact and applies power to the tail lamp lights.

LOCATION

It is located on transaxle rear housing

REMOVAL

1. Remove the tail gate. For “Removal & refitment of

tail gate” refer Body group.

2. Remove the Rear shelf. For “Removal & refitment

of rear shelf” refer Body group.

3. Disconnect the electrical connection.

4. Loosen the locking nut & take out the switch.

REFITMENT

1. Tighten the locking nut.

2. Connect the electrical connection

3. Fit the rear shelf& tail gate.

DOOR SWITCH

FUNCTION:

Door switch which is switched on or off in response to

opening and closing of doors, an interior dome lamp

which is turned on or off in response to the door switch

or selectively turned on or off by manual

operation.

LOCATION

It is located on ‘B’ pillar.

REMOVAL

1. Remove the rubber grommet.

2. Remove the screw
