On vehicle Removal, Inspection & Refitment
Procedure
Removal Procedure
•
Remove battery negative terminal using ring
spanner.
Precaution :
Ensure that the removed terminal is away from the
battery negative post/body.
•
Remove the primary coil connection.
Precaution :
Press the lock and pull out the coupler. Do not pull
the wire.
•
Remove the HT cables.
Precaution :
Pull the cable by holding the plugs.
NOTE
Sequence while removing the HT Cable
1. Remove the ignition coil side boot first.
2. Then remove the Spark Plug side boot.
Sequence while fitting HT Cable
1. Fit the spark plug side boot first.
2. Then fit the ignition coil side boot.
