1. Short circuit failure

between CAN High and

CAN Low lines.

2. Short circuit failure

between CAN Low and

Battery lines.

3. Short circuit failure

between CAN High and

Ground line

1. Check CAN wiring

harness for short circuit

failure(s).

2. Measure resistance

between CAN High (OBD

Connector) and CAN

Low (OBD Connector)

lines to detect short

circuit failure.

3. Measure resistance

between CAN Low (OBD

Connector) and Battery

lines (OBD Connector) to

detect short circuit

failure.

4. Measure resistance

between CAN High (OBD

Connector) and Ground

lines (OBD Connector) to

detect short circuit

failure.

5. If measured resistance

is in the range of 0 to 10

ohm, then any one of the

short circuit failure is

present.

6. Repair the wiring

harness.
