When the ignition switch is in the “ON” position,
this gauge indicates level of DEF left in the
tank.
The DEF Gauge indication within range of “E”
and “F”
For Q5 7" TFT Instrument Cluster Text Message
alerts for different levels
DEF` Level Low
When DEF Level low, Text alert & Tell Tale will
triggered as shown below
First Trigger will come when Remaining distance of
vehicle will be < 2400 km.
Subsequent triggers will come from level 2 to level 5
when driver continues to drive
Vehicle without refiling DEF. From Level 3
continuous chime activated and DEF gauge will be
replaced by the Text Alert. At Level 6 Text alert will
come on DIC screen and remain until DEF Re-filled.
At Level 7 Text alert will be constant on DIC screen
and vehicle will not start until Re-filled.
