P130500:- LV under/over voltage fault.

Overview:

ISO Code (If applicable) P130500

Customer Symptom

Vehicle will stop.

Fault Effect (On Vehicle) Vehicle cannot be driven

Lamp Status (If Any)

HV Critical lamp on cluster glows

DTC Detection Condition This DTC is logged if the LV voltage to the Edrive is less than 8V or more

than 16V.

Normal Operating

Condition

Normally the LV voltage is 10.6V - 16 V.

Probable Trouble Area

Overvoltage:

a)

DC-DC converter is giving more voltage i.e >16V at the

output.

b)

Voltage sensor has failed.

Undervoltage:

a)

DC-DC converter is giving less voltage i.e <8V at the

output.

b)

Voltage sensor has failed.

Healing Condition

Ignition on/off

Write up for the system:-

E-drive is a three in one unit which consist of Electric motor, Motor Controller Unit and Gear-Box,

Where this unit draws power from the High voltage battery and convert that electric power into

kinetic energy which helps to rotate the vehicle. During braking vehicle kinetic energy convert in

to electric energy

.

Pre-Check Points:

a)

Check for design specific LV battery.

b)

Check LV battery Voltage to be in the range of 10.6V-16V.

c)

Check for the proper terminal connection of the 12V LV Battery.

d)

Check LV connections to Edrive (KL30 and KL31) for any damage(terminal bending or

rusting of pins.)
