4.19. TAIL GATE LATCH CABLE
1. Open the tail gate.
2. Remove parcel shelf.
3. Remove rear seat backrest (for removal
process refer rear seat removal process).
4. Flip the cushion assembly.
5. First remove the carpet on the right hand side
of the vehicle so that the cable routing is visible.
6. Disconnect tailgate latch cable from tailgate
latch lever.
7. Remove tail gate striker. (For procedure refer
tailgate striker removal process.)
8. Disconnect tailgate latch cable from the tailgate
striker.
9. Pull out the cable from luggage compartment.
FITMENT
For fitment follow reverse procedure of removal.
4.20. TAIL GATE TRIM
REMOVAL
1. Open the tail gate.
2. Loosen and remove two mounting bolts of
tailgate wiper motor cover.
3. Remove tail gate wiper motor cover.
4. Pull out tailgate trim by plastic wedge / fingers
and pull out trim gently.
NOTE
While pulling out the tail gate trim, care should be
taken such that tree clips do not get damage.
