1. GENERAL INFORMATION
A. INTRODUCTION
TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) provides feature of Tire pressure monitoring. According to the
frequent accident due to the insufficient tire pressure, it has been necessary to develop more reliable system
to monitor the actual pressure and give a proper telltale to the driver while driving.
TPMS is an electronic system designed to monitor the air pressure inside the pneumatic tires on various
types of vehicles. TPMS system provides tire condition over CAN i.e. low tire pressure, High tire pressure,
High temperature, Air leakage, real time pressure value, TPMS Errors. TPMS system also has tire sensors
which are mounted on the inside of the rims.
When you drive your vehicle from a warm area to a cold area or from a cold area to a warm area, or the
outside temperature significantly increases or decreases.
