38. Using hydraulic support stand lower the engine
from engine bay and remove engine from
vehicle. (Use a suitable wooden block or other
support for additional height as necessary.)
CAUTION
Take care when lowering the engine off the
vehicle. Verify all components and electrical
connections are disconnected prior to
raising the vehicle, or vehicle damage
occurs.
39. Now slightly lower the lift until engine and
transaxle assembly is securely placed / fix on
the support stand.

40. Disconnect the lifting crane from the engine.
41. Now carefully move the lift up.
42. Take out the engine and transaxle assembly
along with support stand.
43. Remove the engine wiring harness and starter
motor. Remove the engine wiring harness.
44. Remove the gearbox along with clutch from the
engine. (Refer Gearbox and clutch section for
removal procedure).
45. Fix the LH & RH mounting brackets to the
engine with the help of adopter.
