5. Operate the bonnet opening lever from inside
and ensure that the bonnet pops up properly, if
not loosen the mounting bolts and move the
lock in the oval slots provided in the mounting
holes, so that it opens properly.
6. Apply the recommended grease to the sliding
plates and cable.
BONNET LATCH RELEASE CABLE
REMOVAL
1. Open the bonnet.
2. Pull out the cable from the lock assembly.
3. Loosen and remove mounting fasteners of
hood release lever and remove the lever.
4. Remove locking pin
5. Disconnect the cable from hood release lever.
6. Pull out and remove the cable from the engine
compartment.
CAUTION
Do not pull the hood latch cable from inside of cab
it can damage the rubber grommet.
FITMENT
NOTE
Check the condition of the rubber grommet, if
found damaged replace the same at the time of
fitment.
For fitment follow the reverse procedure of
removal.
