9. Disconnect vehicle speed sensor connection
from transaxle.
10. Remove ball joint (steering rack) from steering
knuckle from both sides.
11. Remove Mountings on lower control arm and
disconnect lower control arm.
12. Swing out both drive shafts from transaxle and
hang it suitably with the help of hook 5123
5890 2403.
CAUTION:
Do not pull drive shaft excessively as
the plunge joint will come out of housing and
damage the boot Pry. Plunge joint housing for
taking out joint out of splines. Do not place the CV
drive shaft on rough / uncleaned surfaces. This
might damage the drive shaft boot.
13. Disconnect electrical connections of Reverse
Light switch.
14. Ensure to release wiring harness from below
clutch cable and clutch actuating lever.
15. Disconnect earthing cable Gear Box
16. Support engine suitably using engine lifting
crane.
17. Remove the starter motor.
18. Loosen and remove B Mount nut.
