1.8 ENGINE OVERHAULING :( ON OVERHAUL
STAND)
A. Engine Dis-assembly :
I. Removal of Intake Manifold :
1. Remove Filter along with snorkel.
2. Remove compressor and mount the bracket
5424 5890 24 02.
3. Keep the engine on bench suitably.
4. Remove Spring Band Clamp.
5. Remove the Rubber hose from Head cover
OCV to Intake manifold.
6. Remove Electronic Throttle Body.
7. Remove the Fuel Rail along with the injectors.
8. Remove clip on the fuel injector.
9. Remove the Injectors.
10. Removing 5 no of fasteners and Remove the
Intake Manifold.(4 on head and 1 on block)
