Are there any pins damaged at EMS ECU Connector

Replace the

connector or wiring

Are there any pins backed out from the EMS ECU

Rectify/Replace

Check whether any of the Exhaust gas temperature sensor

(Inlet catalyst – T4 Sensor) pins A056, A055 are short-

circuited to Battery / Ground.

Rectify the wiring

Harness

Connections

Go to Next Step.

Dis-connect Exhaust gas temperature sensor (Inlet catalyst

– T4 Sensor) from vehicle and check as below. At 25

degrees of ambient temperature, measure the resistance

across the sensor, it shall be ~ 220 Ohms.

After rectification, Test Drive the vehicle for 2 KM and ensure that no DTC’s are logged in ECM.
