- General electrical failure in glow plug 2
- General electrical failure in glow plug 3
- General electrical failure in glow plug 4
- GCU in fault
- T30 missing
- General electrical failures in feedback line or open
circuit of command line or feedback signal not valid
- Short circuit to Vbatt in the command line
- Short circuit to Gnd of the command line

Is there wiring harness electrical continuity between ECU
pin K057 & GPIU module connector pin 3, K053 & GPIU
module connector pin 4, K054 and GPIU Module connector
pin 2, GPIU Module connector pin 1 and Main relay supply,
GPIU Module connector pin 5 and Battery supply.
Go to next step
Rectify the wiring
harness
connections as per
the circuit
schematic.

Check whether the EMS pin K057 is short-circuited to
Battery / Ground.
Rectify the wiring
harness connections
as per the circuit
schematic.

Are there any pins damaged at EMS ECU Connector
Replace the
connector or wiring
harness

Are there any pins backed out from the EMS ECU
Connector
Rectify/Replace
Connectors

steps for re-
confirmation
DTC’s confirmation:
After rectification, Test Drive the vehicle for 2 KM and ensure that no DTC’s are logged in ECM.
Perform the ‘Glow Plug Low Voltage Test’ for GPIU Module by opening the Routines tab in Service tool. Test shall be
successful.
