SRS Warning Lamp continuously ON in Instrument Cluster
Fault Detection Condition
Passenger Side Peripheral sensor Deployment Device is not
configured in EOL, but physically present in the vehicle
Normal Operating Condition
Passenger Side Peripheral sensor configuration & physical
presence in the vehicle should be as per the VC.

Related wiring Harness, connector or terminals

System Configuration
Airbag ECU
Healing Condition
1. Correct System configuration should be written to Airbag
ECU as per VC.
2. Passenger Side Peripheral sensor physical presence
should be as per VC.
Component Details:-
Passenger Side peripheral Sensor
: - These sensors are mounted on left side “B” pillar at the bottom end.
Airbag ECU
: - It is fitted in the floor of central console in the car. The Airbag Electronic Control Unit (ECU) controls the
deployment system to allow an appropriate igniting of the Airbags and belt pre-tensioners to restrain the Driver and
passengers.
Preliminary Checks:-
1. Check Battery Voltage (12 V & above)
2. Check for any faults in Airbag Warning Lamp indication in Instrument Cluster.
3. Ensure the proper locking of Airbag ECU wiring harness connectors in the vehicle by the locking sound.
