the deployment system to allow an appropriate igniting of the Airbags and belt pre-tensioners to restrain the driver

and passengers.

PADI

(Passenger Airbag Deactivation Indicator):- Passenger Airbag Deactivation Indicator is provided in the Fascia

Switch or in SBR display & gives the visual indication to the occupants on the deactivation status of the Passenger

Airbag. This indication will glow, if the Passenger Airbag is deactivated.

PADS

(Passenger Airbag Deactivation Switch):- Passenger Airbag Deactivation (PAD) Switch is provided on the left

side of dashboard. Passenger Airbag should be deactivated if a child is seated in the Front Passenger seat (Since, in

case of an impact, the deployed airbag will hit the child directly on his head with a heavy force, which can be

dangerous to the child). Passenger Airbag can be deactivated by turning the PADS switch in anti-clockwise direction

using the Ignition Key. It can be re-activated by turning the PADS switch in clockwise direction using the Ignition key.

SBR Display

:- SBR (Seat Belt Reminder) display gives visual indication to the occupants regarding the Seat belt

buckle status of front & rear passengers & also the PAD Switch status.
