Customer Symptom

No air distribution (mode) control (manual or automatic)

Fault Effects (On Vehicle)

The motor is blocked and its motion toward either end is

not possible

Lamp Status (If Any)

Motor shall be disabled

Fault Detection Condition

Mode Door Control Motor - Actuator stuck

Normal Operating Condition

With the Mode motor drive line connected to the harness

and with Ignition ON, check the voltage between blue

connector pin no 5 & ground or 21 & ground of the

Connector. The voltage range should be in between 0 to 14

V

Probable Trouble Area

Motor is stuck because of a mechanical block or

obstruction in movement of flap

Healing Condition

Perform ignition ON/OFF for 11 Cycles for Auto Calibration

Component Details:

The Mode Door Actuator controls the direction of airflow. It selects which way air flows through the different ducts.

Preliminary Checks:

Switch On the IGN & perform the following check.

1)

Connect the Diagnostics tool & check the DTC fault code

2)

If the fault code exists, refer the corrective actions
