Customer Symptom
1. Passive vehicle starting will not work only clamp state
will change from OFF/ACC/IGN in manual transmission.
2. For Osprey clutchSwitch10Perc and clutchswitch90Perc
both are present and if anyone signal is healthy clutch
will function normally.
Fault Effects (On Vehicle)
1. Passive vehicle starting will work without clutch press in
manual transmission
2. Passive vehicle starting will not work only clamp state
will change from OFF/ACC/IGN in manual transmission.
Lamp Status (If Any)
N.A.
Fault Detection Condition
1. Permanent short circuit to ground of
ClutchSwitch10PrecPress signal of clutch sensor.
2. Wire cut & shorting to ground of Connector-2 / Pin-1
signal.
3. Bending of pin-1 of connector-2 and shorting to each
adjacent pin.
Normal Operating Condition
1. Vehicle battery voltage shall be normal.
2. Clutch pedal shall not be pressed continuously for more
than 3 min.
3. Valid paired UID should be present inside the vehicle,
clutch pressed and SSB should be pressed.
Probable Trouble Area
1. Permanent short circuit to ground of
ClutchSwitch10PrecPress signal of clutch sensor.
2. Wire cut & shorting to ground of Connector-2 / Pin-1
signal with vehicle body.
3. Bending of pin-1 of connector-2 and shorting to ground
pin.
Healing Condition
1. After fixing short to ground fault on
ClutchSwitch10PrecPress signal of clutch sensor,
passive vehicle start should work normally.
