Troubleshooting:-
Start
Connect Diagnostic tool and Check for DTCs.
Is
DTC B164B – 12
present?
Disconnect vehicle battery connection.
(Please follow the safety guidelines)

Stop
No
Check DTC present is Current or Historic
Is
History?
Yes
No
1. Clear the DTC from memory
2. Turn the IGN to OFF
3. Start the IGN
Check PEPS connector for terminal
backout.
Are
connectors
loose?
1. Remove PEPS Connectors.
2. Perform visual check of connectors for pins bent or
damaged etc.
Reconnect connectors firmly
Yes

Is
connector
faulty?
Correct connector fault
(Terminals Bend)
Check continuity between PEPS mating connector pin
[C3-18]
(Harness side) with battery
[C3-9/10]
Yes
No
Continuity
Found?
Correct PEPS mating
connector Side wiring harness
(Short to Battery)
Yes
No
1. Remove relay and check for normal function of relay.
2. Check if CRANK Relay feedback Line of CRANK
relay is shorted to battery.
Continuity
Found?
Correct CRANK Relay side

PEPS ECU faulty
Replace PEPS ECU.
