3. LF Antenna Replacement Procedure

After performing all the necessary checks as per the troubleshooting guide, at wire harness

etc., and if no root cause is found and antenna need to be replaced, then follow the below

procedure:

3.1.

Prerequisite for front console antenna replacement:

1) Front console antenna to be replaced shall be available.

2) Check and verify part number of the antenna. It shall be 543854209904.

3) Check and verify the continuity between front console antenna terminals. If no continuity

observed, i.e. antenna is faulty, take proper/healthy antenna.

3.2.

Prerequisite for right antenna and rear/Trunkantenna

replacement:

1) Right antenna or rear antenna to be replaced shall be available.

2) Check and verify part number of the antenna. It shall be 543854209902.

3) Check and verify no continuity between antenna terminals. If continuity observed, i.e.

antenna is faulty, take proper/healthy antenna.

3.3.

Procedure for antenna replacement:

1) Disconnect the battery.

2) Locate the antenna.

(For location of front center console antenna, refer section 5, figure 3A and 3B).

(For location of right antenna, refer section 5, figure 4).

(For location of tailgate/trunk/rear antenna, refer section 5, figure 5).

3) Remove all the antenna connectors.

4) Remove the old antenna.

5) Fix the new antenna.

6) Connect all the antenna connectors properly.

7) Ensure that all connectors are fitted tightly and properly.

8) Connect the battery.

9) Check the customer reported fault, whether it is rectified.
