DTC’s confirmation:

After rectification, ensure the following points by using TML diagnostic tool before handling over to customer.

1. Switch IGN ON -> OFF

2. Press Lock button on UID or Driver door close to open to trigger ESCL lock.

3. Switch IGN OFF->ON and read DTC. ESCL shall not log B1022-96 DTC.

Inspection Method:

1. In Ignition off condition, verify steering wheel gets lock on driver door open/ close or on pressing lock button on

UID.

2. Turn ignition OFF->ON, verify steering wheel gets unlock.
