Normal Operating Condition
Wiper gets activated based on RLS sensor input to
BCM.
Probable Trouble Area
Vehicle electrical, RLS mounting fault
Healing Condition
N/A
Component Details:
If RLS detects the intensity of rain based on threshold values. BCM shall then activate the auto wipe function
as per signals from rain sensor.
Preliminary Checks:
1. Voltage at the battery terminals should be greater than 11.5V.
2. RLS power supply connector should have greater than 11.5V for full assistance.
3. Check battery cable and RLS connector terminals for damage.
4. Check RLS for pin bend/damage.
