Customer Symptom
No immediate symptoms
Fault Effects (On Vehicle)
Components supplied by internal_5V do not operate.
Lamp Status (If Any)
NA
Fault Detection Condition
This fault will logged with IGN ON/ RUN and Internal 5V
output from BCM supplied to cockpit dimming switch is
not activated.
Normal Operating Condition
IGN ON/ RUN, Internal 5V output from BCM supplied to
cockpit dimming switch is activated and No DTC logged.
Probable Trouble Area
1. BCM connector Fault.
2. Harness issue.
3. Switch fault.
4. ECU fault.
Healing Condition
1. Give ignition cycle after fault removal
2. Clear DTC command- No DTC logged
Component Details:
Internal 5V output from BCM supplied to cockpit dimming switch.
Preliminary Checks:
1.
Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V)
2.
Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
